Our take
I find the Synology HAT3300 6TB drive to be a perfectly decent option for someone needing a good amount of storage without breaking the bank. The 5400 RPM speed might not win any races against faster drives, but for general storage, backups, and even light NAS use, the 202 Mbps transfer rate and 256 MB cache are quite respectable. It's an internal 3.5-inch SATA III drive, so it's broadly compatible with most desktop systems and Synology NAS enclosures. The California Prop 65 warning is something to be aware of, but that's a common disclosure for many electronic components.
